COVID – Relief Fundraiser
The Covid-19 pandemic has affected each and every household in one way or another. While some have contracted the disease and struggle to overcome it, there are others who find themselves short of basic necessities. Currently, the second wave of coronavirus spreading in India has resulted in a severe shortage of medical equipment and aid. In the midst of it all, the student community has moved into a new norm of continuing their studies through online platforms which keeps them within the safety of their homes. Yet inevitably, the experience does not equate to traditionally schooling, where a significant portion of learning is shaped through extracurricular activities and group-based interactions.
Therefore, in an attempt to help solve one problem with another, the EdNet student community is organizing an online quiz contest, ‘Inquizzitive’, to raise funds for the COVID Relief initiative. Our attempts are aimed at encouraging students to become involved in a noble cause, while simultaneously testing their knowledge and skills in a fun and interactive way. Students will be carrying out the event in association with EdNet Consultants Pvt. Ltd. and our proceeds will go to charitable organizations such as Saidham, CRY, Maitri India and Arunodaya Deseret Eye Hospital. These organizations have been doing wonderful and inspirational work for the vulnerable throughout this crisis period, and it would be a matter of great satisfaction for us to contribute to their cause.
